In all of my life, I haven’t been treated with the same love and appreciation as much as my grandparents have. Unlike the rest of the world, whom I feel stare at me with prejudice and animosity, my grandparents brought me up as if I were the greatest gift they have ever received. They have deliberately looked past all my flaws and imperfections.
As the years flew by, I grew up and lived my life the way I wanted to. I left my home to chase my dreams, in search for my passions and what will keep me going. Yet, through all those years I was away, it was my grandparents who always made me feel like I was so close to home, and in a safe place. All I know is that my grandparents, who once could barely let me out of their sights, set me free so I can find myself in this world full of uncertainty.
