New Year’s Eve party favors usually consist of the typical festive party hats, bead necklaces, and some funky noise makers. That’s all fine and dandy, but why not go outside of what’s usually expected? This is not to say that you shouldn’t have the usual New Year’s Eve party favors, but going above and beyond will really make it a memorable time for your guests!

If you are poking around for some ideas, here’s some favors that will explode with awesomeness!
Favor poppers: You can buy something like these in the store, or you can make them by yourself from common household items and save lots of money! These are a cute idea for everyone to pop open at the drop of the ball, and you can fill it with candy, confetti, or any other little favors you want to stick in there!
Cookie cutter wreaths: Buy a bunch of star-shaped or whatever-shaped cookies cutters you want and tie them to one another in the shape of a circle. Complete the wreath with a nice, big bow up top and a charm that says the new year!
Hand-painted champagne flutes: You can buy the flutes and paint a special message for each person, making sure to include the year! Everyone will be needing a glass to give a toast to the new year! Don’t forget plastic flutes and sparkling grape juice for the kids!
Silly party hats: If there’s going to be some kids at the party, then why not make these silly party hats for them to wear? They will feel like a part of the party in their own little way, and look adorable!
Homemade fortune cookies: Instead of giving cards to your party guests, why not make homemade fortune cookies and put the card message inside the cookie instead? Besides, you likely already have all of the ingredients you need right in your cupboard!
Rice crispy treats: These are always a win for party guests, no matter how young or old! Try adding chocolate drizzle on top in the shape of an exploding firework, with some sprinkles. Writing the year on top is also a great idea!
Mini cheesecakes: Who doesn’t love cheesecake? Make individual cheesecakes in mini mason jars (mmmmmmmmm!) so that everyone can keep them in the fridge until they are ready for the snack. If you decorate the mason jar nicely, your guests will be able to save it and repurpose it!
Cookies: Find cookie cutters that are shaped like the year and frost them nicely. If you can’t find a single cookie cutter with the year, use individual numbers. What’s the worst that can happen, they receive four cookies instead of one? Pssshh!
Although many people often vow to eat healthier in the new year, a sweet treat will really test their will power. Likely what will happen is that a.) they will marvel at the beautiful, sweet creation and pass it off to their children in the morning, or b.) they will secretly scarf it up in the car on the way home!
